On June 10, 2014 Yingke Law Firm held its Russian Office's Grand Opening ceremony and reception banquet in Moscow. Guests from government authorities, legal circle, financial community and media milieu joined the ceremony. Mr. Xiangrong Mei (Managing partner, Global partner) and Ms. Lin Yang (Director of Yingke International, Global partner) of Yingke Law Firm, together with Mr. Alexander Nektorov and Ms. Natalia Sokolova, on behalf of the Russian Law Firm Nektorov, Saveliev & Partners joined the ceremony.

Yingke Law Firm Russia office operates through exclusive cooperation between the two firms. Nektorov, Saveliev & Partners was established in 2006. It mainly provides services in fields of corporate law, M&A, financing, real estate, tax law, anti-monopoly law, dispute resolution and so forth. It is a leading Russian law with extensive practical experience. The establishment of Yingke Law Firm Russia office sees a great progress of Yingke's global strategy. It will devote to promote the bilateral business and investments between the countries.

According to the exclusive cooperation agreement, Nektorov, Saveliev & Partners will provide its services to all Russia-related issues under the name of Yingke, which will help the firm to unify and standardize its services worldwide.

During the interview, Mr. Xiangrong Mei suggests that China and Russia are neighbors and are both influential powers. In 2014, the conclusion of‘Joint statement on the new stage of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the people's Republic of China and the Russian Federation’makes the relationship between the two countries has stepped into a higher level. At the same time Chinese enterprises are learning more and more about Russian investment and trade environment. It is believed that the business and investment between the two countries will make a great progress under the Chinese‘go global’strategy.

It is the historical‘duty-call’that makes Yingke to open its Russian office. Yingke Russia office will mainly provide legal and commercial services in fields of M&A, foreign investments, real estates and international dispute resolution. In addition, Yingke will also cooperate closely with other sound institutions to provide full-ranged services to its clients. Yingke Russia Office is also able to provide services in Eastern Europe.

According to the plan, Yingke will also open its offices in France, Germany and Czech Republic this year, and next year Yingke will open its offices in Australia, New Zealand and Africa. In the future, Yingke will follow its clients' needs to open offices in other key cities globally.
