詹博士熟悉民商事法律事务，特别是投融资和涉外业务。在涉外业务方面，他是“枫投+”移民与涉外事务团队牵头人，与海外律师紧密合作，为出国移民留学提供法律风控咨询和纠纷维权。熟悉美国EB5投资移民、欧洲购房移民、加拿大投资移民等投资类移民。有感于移民中介行业普遍存在的不规范，也为了避免利益冲突，本团队不给任何移民中介和项目背书。在留学生维权方面，与主要留学目的地律师合作，为留学生的海外学习生活保驾护航。

詹博士2002年取得中国律师资格，拥有10年+上海知名律所的执业经历，曾在美国大型律师事务所的旧金山办公室担任过中国法律顾问，并曾在位于美国硅谷的纳斯达克上市公司法务部任职。

詹博士在跨国公司人员派遣、跨境投资移民方面有相关理论和实务的积累。著有《国际劳务关系法律适用问题研究》一书（2011年，法律出版社）。

2014年在硅谷创办硅谷中国跨境天使平台(AngelsGlobal)，拥有丰富的北美工作生活经历、全球创业项目策划与服务经历、创业项目天使投资经历。在北美科技创投圈拥有广泛人脉，自2016年开始每年牵头组织全球名校创业创投大赛，频繁担任斯坦福大学、多伦多大学、波士顿大学、哥伦比亚大学、南加州大学等著名高校的创业大赛评委，。

在顾问业务方面，曾为企业并购重组、定增、融资等活动提供专项法律顾问服务（例如上市公司上海莱士）、为企业提供常年法律顾问服务（例如全球五大外包服务商美国SYKES公司）。

在争议解决方面，曾代理诸多企业商业纠纷的诉讼案件，也曾代理由中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会、上海仲裁委员会等仲裁机构受理的诸多商事仲裁案件。

在非法集资案件处置方面，也有理论与实务的积累。代表性的成果：《私募基金与非法集资的界限》，发表在《经济刑法》第10辑（顾肖荣主编）。

Dr. Zhan is familiar with civil and commercial affairs, especially investment & financing and foreign-related legal services. He is the leader of “Maple +” Immigration and Foreign-Related Legal Service Center and has established collaboration with local lawyers in active economies in terms of risk control for immigrants and students studying overseas. He is experienced with EB5 investment immigration in USA, real estate investment immigration in Europe and investment immigration in Canada. To avoid conflict of interests, we won’t endorse any immigration  service institution or any specific project. With regard to students studying overseas, we work together with local lawyers to assist students for their study and life.

Dr. Zhan qualified as a PRC attorney in 2002, and has 10+ years of experience as a legal practitioner at prestigious law firms. He once served as a PRC legal consultant at the San Francisco office of a leading U.S. law firm, and as a member of the legal department of a NASDAQ-listed company in Silicon Valley.

Dr. Zhan has accumulated theoretical and practical knowledge in relation to multinationals employee expatriation and cross-border investment immigration. He published a book On the Application of Law for International Labor Relationships, 2011, Law Press.

He founded AngelsGlobal in Silicon Valley and accumulated rich experience in living in North America, serving global startups, and investing in early-stage startups. With his broad network in North America technology entrepreneurship and investment community, he has organized the Global Top Universities Startups & Angels Contest since 2016, and frequently served as a judge at startup contests at prestigious universities such as Stanford University, University of Toronto, Boston University, Columbia University, University of Southern California, etc..

In terms of non-litigation legal service, he provided special engagement legal consulting service relating to the activities such as M&A, private placement of stocks, and financing for enterprises, such as SHANGHAI RAAS, a listed company. He also provided long-term legal consulting service for enterprises, such as SYKES, headquartered in Florida, the worldwide top-5 outsourcing service provider.

In terms of dispute resolution, he handled many litigation cases involving disputes between enterprises, as well as commercial arbitration cases processed by China International Economic & Trade Arbitration Commission, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, etc.

He also accumulated theoretical and practical experience in illegal fund-raising case disposition, with a representative paper “The Differentiation between Private Funds and Illegal Fund-Raising”, 10^th Issue of Economic Criminology.

Social Activities

He was the executive secretary-general of CDNCA Innovation & Entrepreneurship Commission, department chair for collaboration at Shanghai Young Entrepreneurs Association Cultural Division, and VP of Young Entrepreneurs Alliance at Hongkou Business Association. Now he is a mentor at Shanghai University of Foreign Economics and Trade, an MBA mentor at Anhui Normal University, a commissioner of Technology Assessment Commission at China Technology Market Association, and a coach at SORSA entrepreneurs training program, etc.

He is a startup mentor for prestigious universities such as Fudan University. He was a part-time vice director of Fudan University Venture Capital Research Center, and once worked part-time for Huai’an Hi-Tech Park in north Jiangsu Province.
