Elena Wang’s first degree was in law at China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), her second degree was the Master’s Degree of Common Law from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Elena’s third degree was in Electronics Engineering and Automation from China Eastern Science and Technology University. Furthermore, in 2017, she participated in the Chinese Lawyer Training Program held by the English Bar Council at London, and was trained by Three New Square, a leading Intellectual Property Chambers of the U.K. Now Elena is a senior partner lawyer as well as a qualified patent attorney in Yingke Law Firm Shanghai Office. She is also a member of the “One Belt One Road” Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.

Ms. Elena Wang is experienced in all areas of intellectual property. She has been particularly active in technology-oriented cases involving electronics engineering, in which her knowledge of the law is coupled with a technical background. She also enjoys a diverse practice in copyright, trademarks and other IP rights. In 2014, Elena acted in the copyright infringement and anti-unfair competition litigation case regarding “Battle through Heaven” online game. After two instances, this case was finally listed as “One of the Most Significant IP Cases of China in 2015”. Her invention patent infringement litigation case helped her law firm to be listed as “One of the Ten Top IP Litigation Firms Nationwide in 2018”.

(listed company) concerning the copyright of a hot novel and an online game (both named “Battle through Heaven”) at Guangzhou Tianhe People’s Court and Guangzhou IP Court. The litigation was listed as “One of the Most Significant IP Cases of China in 2015”

•     2015.01 Acted for the leading online game company 37 group (listed) in the trademark and copyright infringement litigation of online game “MU”, the litigation was suspended for listing concern

•     2015.03 Acted for 37 group (listed) in the adaptation right licensing dispute of “Chi-bi Maruko” in Shanghai IP Court
